Sharon Xuereb

Sharon’s main area of practice in as part of the TMT team, where she has been actively involved for a number of years.  Her experience includes assisting clients in the areas of Data protection and Intellectual Property, both in advisory capacity as well as in dispute resolution. She acts on an on-going basis for a major player in the electronic communications market offering mobile, fixed telephony, Pay-TV and internet service to navigate competition, litigation, telecoms, privacy, advertising and consumer affairs related matters involved in this industry; and advises on GDPR matters in various industry sectors, including aviation, retail, electronic communications, gaming, and financial institutions, and supporting clients with GDPR compliance audits and training. She also regularly advises clients on brand and intellectual property protection, including licensing, assignment and registration of such rights.
